If you want to run for City Council or FISD Trustee, you may file your application between Jan. 13 and Feb. 12.   Here is the City of Forney Application, and the Forney ISD forms.

Nov. 03, 2020 Presidential, Federal, State and local elections.
If you live inside Forney city limits, there are charter amendment items to consider and one council seat to determine.
If you live outside the city limits, there is an item for Emergency Services District #6 (ESD6).

Early voting is Oct. 13 - Oct. 30. You may apply for a Ballot-by-Mail at the state or at Kaufman County if you:

  • Are age 65+
  • Are Disabled
  • expect to be absent from the county
  • Are confined in jail, but otherwise eligible

Your application must be received by the Early Voting Clerk by Oct. 23.
The last day to register to vote is Oct. 05, 2020.

To vote in person, you may take advantage of early voting from Tuesday Oct. 13 through Friday Oct. 30, 2020, or wait until election day on November 03, 2020.
